Prof Ayadi chaired the first academic session on macro-economic policies, imbalances and reforms in the Mediterranean Partners’s Countries. Three papers were presented on the topics of twin deficits and sustainability of macro-economic policies, an evaluation of the IMF reforms in the region and the external and internal imbalances in the south med countries.
The 2017 FEMISE conference was organised around the following policy and economic themes: the impacts, policies and potential solutions of the refugees’ crisis; the economic transition and modernisation and labour markets, inequality and welfare of the Mediterranean Partners Countries.
Among EMNES partners who participated to the FEMISE Annual Conference is Moez Ben Tahar, Associate researcher at IHEC.
Prof. Ayadi discussed the possibility of further cooperation between the two network FEMISE and EMNES.
