The President of the Euro-Mediterranean Economists Association – EMEA and Director of the Euro-Mediterranean Network for Economic Studies – EMNES, Prof. Rym Ayadi, participated to the conference “The Future of UK-EU Financial Services after Brexit” which took place at the Hong Kong Theatre, Clement House, LSE, and addressed key issues on where the UK and EU stand in the field of cross-border provision of financial services.
The event was hosted by Financial Markets Group (FMG) of London School of Economics and Political Science (LSE), Centre for Commercial Law Studies (CCLS) of Queen Mary University of London (QMUL), European Banking Institute (EBI) and European Shadow Financial Regulatory Committee (ESFRC).The welcome address was given by Dame Minouche Shafik (Director of LSE) and the keynote speech by Charles Goodhart (Emeritus Professor of Banking and Finance, FMG, LSE).
