Dr. Chahir Zaki, member of the Steering Committee of the Euro-Mediterranean Network for Economic Studies – EMNES and Senior Economist at the Economic Research Forum, presented at the 6th Joint research Workshop between FESP Cairo University and Pantheon Sorbonne Paris 1, the paper “How Do Technical Barriers to Trade Affect Exports? Evidence from Egyptian Firm-Level Data”, co-authored with Dr. Yasmine Kamal.
Dr. Chahir Zaki also participated at the Research Initiative on the Economics of the Middle East workshop, co-organized between Paris 1 and FEMISE. Dr. Zaki presented the paper “A Decade of Competition Policy in Arab Countries: A De jure and De facto Assessment”, co-authored with Jala Emad Youssef, World Bank – Cairo office, and funded by the ERF.
