The Med Think 5+5 network, coordinated by the IEMed, fosters dialogue and research on the challenges facing the Western Mediterranean region with the collaboration of representatives from the government, academic and research fields as well as civil society.
Prof. Rym Ayadi participated at the 2nd session of the Forum, titled “Cooperation in 5+5 Dialogue as a factor of reduction of economic risks and investment mobilisation between Southern Europe, the Maghreb and Western Africa”, and chaired by Allal Ouazzani Touhami, Director for the EU and Mediterranean Affairs, Ministry of Foreign Affairs and International Cooperation, Morocco.
In her speech, Professor Ayadi emphasised the role of credit guarantees and counter guarantees to reduce risks to enhance access to finance to small and medium sized enterprises in particular for the south Mediterranean countries members of the 5+5 dialogue.
